اللباس الساتر في العمليات
تأتي أهمية هذه الفكرة لما يحدث للمرضى من الإبتذال في غرف العمليات حيث تعرى أماكن من أجسادهم داخل غرف العمليات بدون حاجة ، واللباس المعتاد والمعمول به حاليا لا يوفر الستر الكافي للمريض أو المريضة في غرفة العمليات ويزداد الأمر سوء عندما يكون المريض أو تكون المريضة تحت تأثير المخدر . ومن هنا كان لزاما لعمل لباس ساتر يقضي على كثير من المفاسد الموجودة.

وقد تبنت إدارة التوعية الدينية بصحة بعسير هذا اللباس وعرضه على مدير عام الشئون الصحية بعسير حيث تم توفيره وتطبيقه في المنطقة ، كما تم عرض اللباس الطبي بعسير في جناح التوعية الدينية بالوزارة في معرض وسائل الدعوة السادس (كن داعياً ) لعام 1426هـ الذي عقد بأبها وقد نال استحسان الجميع .
وحصل اللباس الطبي على العديد من الشهادات والميداليات ومنها :جائزة صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير خالد الفيصل بمنطقة عسير في مجال الابتكار .
والميدالية الفضية من مؤسسة الملك عبد العزيز ورجاله لرعاية الموهوبين في اللقاء الرابع للمخترعين السعوديين والمنعقد في مدينة الظهران محرم 1426هـ .
وتمثيل المملكة في المشاركة في المعرض الدولي السادس عشر للاختراعات ITEX 2005 والمنعقد في ماليزيا وقد حصل على الميدالية البرونزية .
ومما ميز اللباس أنه لا يسمح بكشف (المريض- المريضة) إلا بقدر الحاجة لإجراء التعقيم والجراحة اللازمة .
كما أنه ساتر لجميع أجزاء الجسم ، مصنوع من قماش لا يصف البشرة فهو واسع وفظفاظ لتوفير الراحة النفسية للمريضة .
وقد روعي في هذا اللباس سهولة الوصول إلى أي جزء من البدن بيسر وسهولة .
ويمكن استخدام هذا اللباس في الأقسام الأخرى مثل الأشعة والمناظير .
أما العوائق التي اعترضت تطبيق اللباس الساتر فتتمثل في عدم اهتمام العاملين بستر عورات المرضى وخاصة غير المسلمين وقد اقترح مبتكر اللباس إضافة فقرة في عقود الوزارة تلزم المتعاقد بضرورة المحافظة التامة على عورات المرضى أثناء العمل .
كذلك التنظيم الداخلي لغرف العمليات فلا يوجد علامة أو إشارة تبين أن في الغرفة مريض أو مريضة مكشوف عورته وإنما قد يكون الباب مفتوح ولا يوجد ضوابط دقيقة لهذه الأمور .
ومن ذلك أيضا عدم تفعيل التعاميم الواردة من مقام الوزارة وتطبيقها
وصف اللباس : يتكون الاختراع من قميص يتكون من عدة قطع من القماش متصلة ببعضها بواسطة أشرطة لاصقة مدعمة بأزرار بلاستيكية تتيح لبسه وخلعه بسهولة تامة كما تمكن الطبيب من نزع الجزء الساتر للعضو المراد تعقيمه وإجراء الجراحة فيه مع إبقاء باقي الأعضاء مغطاة دون الحاجة إلى كشفها كما يمكن الطبيب في حالة الطوارئ من كشف أي عضو بالسرعة المطلوبة دون اي عوائق كما ان تلك اللواصق تسمح بمرور القثاطر من خلالها دون الحاجة إلى نزع اللباس.

Appropriate apparel for patients undergoing surgery
It is well known that during surgery, the body part of interest gets exposed; however, it has been noticed that often times, unrelated parts of the body of the patients are also exposed. In fact, things get even worse once that patient is fully anesthetized. This of course represents a violation of Islamic rules of respect and decency. One reason for this is the fact that the currently available apparels are not designed to fulfill this requirement. Hence, there is a dire need to make available appropriate dresses for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
With the help of Allah, Br. Saeed Dafer Alahmari who works as assistant anesthetist in Aseer, had developed special garment specifically designed for this purpose. Aseer health authorities have accepted it and launched it in Aseer. The garment was also displayed in the D’awa Tools Exhibition in Abha in year 1426 and was graded highly. This invention earned several awards including Prince Khalid Alfaisal innovation award, silver medal from King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for the Gifted during the fourth assembly of the Saudi inventors held in Dahran in 1426 and the bronze medal from the sixth international exhibition in Malyisa in 2005.
What makes this apparel special is that it facilitates to the surgeon the exposure of the area of interest in a very easy way without exposing other body parts. It is loose-fitting and comfortable. The garment can be used also for patients undergoing other procedures like radiological and endoscopic studies.
One of the obstacles behind the lack of use of appropriate dress for patients undergoing surgical procedures is lack of interest of health care workers specially the non-Musilms and therefore, the inventor suggested to add a new item to the contracts of non-Muslim health care workers stipulating that they should protect the dignity of the patients during work. Another obstacle is the lack of signs within the operating suites, which indicate presence of uncovered patients, and finally the lack of implementation of the Ministry laws and regulations.

This special dress consists of several pieces of cloth that are attached to one another by Velcro tapes and plastic snap buttons, which allow easy access to the body part of interest.
